Local government election results summary up to now

The local government elections results have been released for 56 local bodies so far out of which the UPFA have won 45 and the UNP have won 6. ITAK has won 3 local government bodies while the SLMC and the UCPF have won one each.

UPFA 55.18% - Votes - 1166884 / Members - 717
UNP 32.83% - Votes - 694199 / Members - 344
JVP 3.09% - Votes - 65424 / Members - 17
Other 8.90% - Votes - 188271 / Members - 119
